Woodside Energy aims to bring several partners into its Louisiana liquefied natural gas export project by Q1 2025, reports MSN.com.
Woodside is looking to sell a 50 percent stake in the Louisiana LNG project – formerly Driftwood LNG – which it fully owns following its acquisition of developer Tellurian last month. The facility on the U.S. Gulf Coast could convert shale gas into as much as 27.7 million tons per year of LNG.
The company has held talks with U.S. natural gas producers, traditional LNG buyers seeking equity stakes and LNG supplies, and infrastructure-focused investors looking for long-term, stable revenue. Read more.
