Venture Global LNG announced last week that its long-term expansion plan will increase production from 70 million tons per annum (MTPA) to more than 100 MTPA of LNG export capacity.
To support the initiative, Venture Global and Baker Hughes have executed an expanded master equipment supply agreement for the delivery of additional liquefaction train systems and power island systems for Venture Global’s future LNG export projects.
In September, Venture Global’s Plaquemines LNG will receive the first four liquefaction train modules and the roof will be raised on its third LNG storage tank. The facility is on target to produce LNG in 2024.
The expanded agreement was announced at Gastech in Singapore. Read more.
