A 13,500-square-foot industrial building was sold in Prairieville to continue as an industrial wholesale location for rigging products.
Greg Denova purchased the property through American Rigging and Supply Company LLC from Marine & Industrial Supply Company Inc. for $1.1 million, according to a deal filed Thursday with the Ascension Parish Clerk of Court’s office.
The purchased property is on Easley Melancon Road near I-10.
Denova tells Daily Report he purchased the assets of Marine & Industrial Supply Company Inc. in July 2023. He did not buy the name, but his business, Wire Rope Specialists, has been operating out of the location since last year.
“Its function is to sell to supply houses and other rigging shops in the United States,” Denova says. “It is a mass production facility for me.”
The industrial building sits on nearly five acres. Denova says the space allows him to grow his third company, American Lifting Solutions, which handles testing and other services.
“Everything’s going; I’m just finally making homes for everything,” he says.
