The LSU Institute for Energy Innovation is hosting a webinar on July 25 to review progress on one of its independent research projects on carbon sequestration, with a special focus on the Lake Maurepas area in southeastern Louisiana.

The research by Dr. Frank Tsai and his team utilizes available data to provide crucial insights into the potential risks and benefits of CO2 storage in Louisiana’s geological formations.

LSU IEI Director Brad Ives will moderate the webinar, and viewers will have the opportunity to submit questions to both Tsai and Ives. The webinar, scheduled for 10-10:30 am CT on July 25, can be viewed here.
