LAGCOE, a conference and exposition for the energy industry, is coming back to Lafayette after relocating to New Orleans in 2019, reports the Daily Advertiser.
The 2022 Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition is scheduled for Oct. 19-21 at the Cajundome Arena and Convention Center. The first LAGCOE was held in 1953 at the Oil Center. In 2019, it moved to theĀ Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
In a press release, LAGCOE said the decision to move back to Lafayette was largely due to local leaders’ support. Read the entire story.
