The International-Matex Tank Terminals’ 216-tank bulk liquid facility in St. Rose is partnering with the Louisiana Environmental Action Network to install four air monitoring sensors in the surrounding neighborhood, reports Louisiana Illuminator.
International-Matex Tank Terminals announced plans last week to install the four new stationary air monitors. The sensors, which IMTT will spend $42,000 a year to install, operate and maintain, will become part of the Louisiana Environmental Action Network’s Community Air Monitoring Network.
