Air Products in talks to sell equity stake in $4.5 billion Louisiana blue hydrogen project

Air Products is pursuing an equity partner to invest in its giant $4.5 billion blue hydrogen and ammonia project in Louisiana, reports Hydrogen Insight.

Speaking in a quarterly earnings call last week, Melissa Schaeffer, Air Products executive vice president, said that the company is predominantly targeting potential equity investors among Asian companies located in Japan and Korea, with a view to securing an offtake agreement as part of the deal.
