Oil and natural gas advocates will gather at the Louisiana State Capitol on May 1 to celebrate Industry Day.
The event celebrates the growth and economic opportunities the oil and natural gas industry has brought to Louisiana. Attendees will gather at A.Z. Young Park in Baton Rouge from 12:30 to 2 p.m. to show their support. Following a free lunch, a formal program will begin at 1 p.m.
The celebration is a networking opportunity for those in the industry to meet others in the sector as well as elected officials and campaign candidates to discuss the issues facing the industry and what can be done to support industry jobs and investments.
This free event is presented by the Grow Louisiana Coalition in partnership with the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Association, Louisiana Oil & Gas Association and the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry.
