Rio Morado LLC has announced the development of the Luling Business Park and Enterprise Center, a master-planned light-industrial park in Luling, reports New Orleans City Business. The site was strategically picked by the developer for its proximity to the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and interstate highway connections to New Orleans and Baton Rouge markets.
Construction is slated to begin later this year with an initial 250,000-square-foot distribution building within the overall master plan of the site, which calls for over 1 million square feet of flexible distribution space.
The Luling Business Park and Enterprise Center will provide much-needed Class-A distribution space for the region. “The Luling Business Park and Enterprise Center will be perfectly placed to help the region play a major role in next-wave distribution, where true competitive advantage is found in location, logistics and workforce,” says Michael Hecht, president of GNO Inc.
