NOLA Terminal’s board of directors has named Brian Miles as chief executive officer and Allen Newman as vice president of commercial operations, reports the American Journal of Transportation. NOLA Terminal, the newest, state-of-the-art facility along the Mississippi River, will be the first of its kind in the region, allowing access for much larger vessels, up to and including cape sized vessels.
Miles served as executive vice president of American Maritime Services/American Environmental & Industrial Services prior to joining NOLA Terminal. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in transportation.
Newman has 30 years of experience in the river and logistics business, and has an aptitude for relationship building between employees, customers and partners. Read more.
