Bennett Motor Express LLC recently expanded its oilfield trucking service capabilities with the acquisition of Broussard, La.-based American Eagle, according to a corporate press release.
Bennett Motor Express is part of the Bennett Family of Companies, based in McDonough, Ga. “With the acquisition, Bennett and American Eagle will provide over 3,500 drivers and owner operators to its customers,” says David Lowry, CEO of Bennett Motor Express. “We are fortunate to not only be able to increase our fleet capacity, but to gain additional drivers and owner operators with experience in specialized trucking.”
Bennett also specializes in over-dimensional and heavy haul logistics, international freight forwarding and cross-border services from Mexico through their gateway terminal located in Laredo, Texas.
