G2 Net-Zero LNG’s planned export facility in the Lake Charles area will be the first to integrate NET Power’s Allam-Fetvedt Cycle technology, following the execution of a Letter of Intent between the two companies, reports LNG Industry.
NET Power’s Allam-Fetvedt Cycle removes all CO2 emissions from the natural gas liquefaction process. “By employing NET Power’s Allam-Fetvedt Cycle, G2 is building new with the latest technology rather than having to bear the burden of expensive outdated technology and infrastructure,” says Chas Roemer, chairman of G2 Net-Zero LNG.
Baton Rouge-based G2 Net-Zero LNG, a venture of Chas Roemer Innovations, plans to build the world’s first LNG export and industrial gas production complex that promises net-zero carbon emissions from upstream to dockside by as early as 2027. In advance of Net-Zero LNG production, G2 will produce and sell industrial gases, including argon, nitrogen and oxygen, while capturing all CO2 emissions. See the full story.
